Kenna began his poker career in 1996 at the Hollywood Park Casino in Los Angeles.� He was working as a dealer and spending his off time playing $1-2 limit hold’em.� In 1997 he moved up to $20 - $100 buy-in tournaments.� In 1999 he decided to turn pro and accepted a job as a proposition player at Crystal Park Casino.�
By 2004, Kenna was earning recognition as a player to be watched.� In 2005, he finished second in the televised WPT Legends of Poker main event at the Bicycle Casino.� He also placed seventh in the Monte Carlo Millions, and took ninth in the Aussie Millions. He then started off 2006 by winning a tournament at the L.A. Poker Classic and placing second on the Party Poker Millions cruise.� Kenna has earned over $2.5 million in tournament wins alone.
